I own the G7 and the waterproof case and I wouldn't be without them for any holiday where I'm planning on snorkelling or diving.
Pictures are awesome and memories of fabulous experiences wouldn't be possible without it. All the functions of the camera are available with the case and it's very easy to use. I would say if you have very small hands that it might be a bit difficult to use as the case is a little large.
