My A2 Geography textbook... Good times! February 23, 2008 Barcode: 9780582429802
I guess i should probably give this 5 stars as my whole A2 Geography course was based on it and on the whole i found it (and the AS level version - Changing Environments) extremely informative and it presents all the information you need in a very clear way. I know these textbooks are expensive so i guess it's lucky i got given mine free from the school.
Case studies are clearly marked out and highlighted and anybody who's taken A level Geography will be able to tell you just how important case studies are! Questions are at just the right difficulty - not too easy, not too hard and are really good at getting you to cover all the essential points.
The only thing this book is missing is a glossary and end of chapter summaries but in a way the absense of these is a good thing as it forces you to do more of the work yourself - to collect the information and remember it.
All you need to know for A level geography! February 12, 2004 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This text book is fantastic at preparing A level students for their exams, it is colour, which lets face it makes a difference, it includes many case studies and in depth detailed diagrams to explain difficult concepts. It is split up into the different topics which are needed and everything is there. Just eat the book before you go into the exam and you'll know everything!
