This book is 'ok' and that's all I can really credit it for. The 50 techniques are those that you could follow in any other half decent beginners book and the authors fail to follow through on their explanations e.g. the tracing image tutorial doesn't do anything more than tell you how to use an image in the background for you to "trace" your web design over. Also, the book is black and white except for a cluster of colour pictures in the middle.
Buyer beware, your money is best spent elsewhere (unless you can pick this up for a few quid second hand). Try the "Dreamweaver MX Complete Course".
